Grand Cayman Family Friendly Pricing Seven Mile Beach Chicken Chicken  This place is a genuine Caribbean specialty house! A family restaurant that started here in the Cayman Islands made famous for its delicious, Caribbean Wood Roasted chicken! The great, open hearth rotisserie, the crackling wood fire, the savory aromas, vibrant colors, and pleasant smiles, all of these invite you to enjoy a taste of the Island. What Folks really love about this little restaurant is affordability and consistency. Great tasting chicken with a variety of sides. They can come casual or they can take out to the beach. Some folks are known to buy many plates  and store in refrigerator at their respective condo's. VIVO Café and Restaraunt www.vivo.ky Located in the northwest coast of Grand Cayman, VIVO is the new vibrant cafe and restaurant from the renowned Chef Gilbert Cavallaro. It’s a new healthy culinary experience at Lighthouse Point . The name VIVO, was born from the experimentation with replacing traditional ingredients with raw, live alternatives, which are the summit of nutrition. The word VIVO comes from the Latin vīvō and means 'to live' or 'to be alive'. Their eco-friendly meat-free menu offers raw, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options. In an attempt to try and limit the invasive population of lionfish in Cayman’s, they are happy to also offer a tasty selection of lionfish dishes. They select our ingredients with the greatest care, to serve you natural, healthy, delicious food, prepared with passion and positive energy. This is their mission! 571 Northwest Point Road in West Bay. (345) 749-8486 What I am hearing:Passengers love the ...

The Heritage Days are some of my favorites events to experience Cayman culture.  This picture is of the Bodden Town district youth demonstrating how to blow into the conch shell to produce a loud horn like sound. Each district show cases some of the best local food favorites. This is where you can taste and enjoy great Caribbean cuisine  I have seen cooking demonstrations on how to prepare spicy pepperpot and frie...

Ask a local and they will say the food at Ragazzi is exceptional and consistently good. The wine list has won the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence for the last five years, and then in 2010 the wine list won the rare accolade of Best of Award of Excellence, something that will not go unnoticed by Ragazzi's wine aficionados. The service is warm and efficient and because of their convenient opening hours – 11.30am to 11pm, seven days a week, including Sunday lunch – you can drop in and eat no matter what time you are hungry. Anyone eating alone can feel more than relaxed and comfortable enjoying an appetizer or late night snack at the bar. The bar was designed and built in Italy especially for Ragazzi.  Th...
