Sunshine Grill

You can not beat Sunshine Grill and Sunshine Suites for family friendly pricing with a super casual environment custom made for family fun. The Grill has some of the best fish taco's and burgers on the island! Everything on the menu is excellent.

The "Pain Killer" their famous rum signature drink is amazing! The famous creation is made from a few rum selections, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and orange juice. Served over rocks with fresh nutmeg. One of my passengers shared his first stop is Sunshine Grill for his annual Pain Killer fix. The Westin is the new owners of Sunshine Suites and their guests can now walk across the street and enjoy the Westin's amazing property and pool. Truly family friendly environment on both properties. The Grill is very casual and you can come as you are with swimming suits and play clothes. The pool area is right outside the Grill making it quite convenient  for folks who stay on the property to take a dip.

Cimboco's

Passenger's know  and love the family pricing at Cimboco. The best deal on Island is Cimboco's Five Items for Five Buck Deal is a Life Saver for Families! Many folks  have a large breakfast and skip lunch and use the money they save for excursions and family fun activities. This restaurant gem makes everything from scratch. Their fresh baked bread is amazing and the hash browns are the best on the island. They pride themselves in serving fresh food favorites breakfast , lunch and dinner.

My favorite is their home made granola made daily from scratch. Just the freshest farm to table grains toasted to perfection served with fresh yogurt layered in a glass mug.

  Their lunches and dinners are US pricing making it affordable for All families to eat out. Again you can come as you are. Great staff and superb service. Have color pages for kids and is a family favorite.

Eagle Rays Bar & Grill/Tukka

This East End Bar and Grill can save you lots of bucks. Look for the yellow submarine at Ocean Frontier and pull in. Best Lion Fish Tacos on island! Chef Ron reflects all US pricing on his bar and grill menu. You can also save every morning with his hearty breakfast. So many divers have enjoyed this hang the view is amazing the casual vibe is a family favorite. They have great burgers and many favorites that the family can share. His sister restaurant Tukka has a great kids menu also. Families enjoy the famous frigate feeding frenzy every afternoon at 5PM Tukka Time you can witness and even feed these magnificent  birds swooping, ducking and diving . Don't forget your camera! Tukka has become a family destination restaurant. They have so many fun activities for the family swings, frigate feeding, green iguana, lobster holding, chickens,  a ship wheel for photo opportunities and so much more. This restaurant is 100% geared up for families. 

Chicken Chicken

Families can not beat Chicken Chicken for family friendly pricing! It has been a Passenger Pick for many years. They are a genuine Caribbean specialty house – a family restaurant started right n the Cayman Islands. This place is famous (primarily) for one thing: their delicious, savory chicken, overwhelmingly mouth-watering “Caribbean Wood Roasted”

 The chicken melts in your mouth not too spicy for the little ones. They start the rotisserie racks up daily, early in the morning. There is so many sides to choose from and their plates are large portions good for two meals. Food always fresh and can be ordered to take out for the beach. During the holidays you can count on Traditional Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners. Just order ahead and pick up. They include all the trimmings for your holiday island vacation.

Coconut Joe's

This has been a great Passenger Pick for family friendly pricing, right across the street from the Marriott and Comfort Suites. Cayman vacationers and their families have hung out at this beach bar for many years. ch resort so a two minute walk gets you a $6.95 American breakfast or a $13.00 massive English breakfast.
 You can find many meals for under 11 dollars.   The staff is warm friendly who understands family life and their needs. Come casual bathing suits and all and enjoy this tropical gem.

With its all-day extended happy hour and classic bar bites like calamari, chicken nuggets, burgers, and wraps this oldie near the beach is the perfect getaway from all the high-priced flash.

 Thursday’s are a fave, for it is Taco night5 dollar Taco night is so reasonable. This is right opposite of the Marriott. Come causal and save money! They also have a great happy hour! Recently they have brought out a Grill and can Grill great ribs and chicken Great prices on all their food.

known for its fun, safe, affordable and delicious cuisine, Coconut Joe's has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike for almost a decade. No visit to Cayman would be complete without a visit to this extravagant monument to Cayman charm and hospitality. Casanova their sister restaurant has a kid menu for ocean front dining. 

Wok N Roll

Wok n Roll is a family favorite for many of my passengers! Talk about family friendly pricing with easy and quick delivery/pickup! Many folks order this delicious Asian food take to the beach or serve in the privacy of their condo's. Families appreciate the huge portions they receive..

 Predominantly catering to the take-out crowd, Wok-n-Roll serves up popular Asian cuisine. There's a selection of dim sum appetizers, soups, noodle bowls, stir fried noodles and rice dishes, alongside popular dishes such as sweet and sour chicken and crispy duck.For something a little different, try one of the sizzling wok prepared plates incorporating meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian options or a Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian or Filipino dish.
Our cozy restaurant has a small number of tables to dine-in and a range of takeout options. An efficient delivery service is offered for orders of CI$20 or more with deliveries to the Seven Mile Beach area free of charge, George Town, The restaurant, located in Regency Court. All their food is farm to table fresh. One meal is really two.

Norma Jean's BBQ and Her Dad Chef John

“Is a must do” quotes a frequent flyer! She sets up on Thu, Fri, Sat at the West Bay Public Dock. Wonderful, wonderful BBQ! Several folks drive from all over just to get this family’s BBQ!! Her dad is the famous Chef John who sets up his BBQ at seven mile public beach. Chef John is locating his BBQ center in Bodden Town on Thursdays and Saturdays. Hope to get more details. This Cayman restaurant was my first introduction to the local cuisine. This isn't strictly Caymanian food, but it is Caymanian owned and operated. They basically have barbecued chicken and ribs served on a bed of beans and rice. The barbecue sauce is great; I like it mixed a little with the beans and rice.

Heritage Kitchen

One of the best known local resturant's tucked away seaside on Boggy Sands Road. This restaurant serves Cayman cuisine such as fried ma hi-mahi and snapper as well as fresh lobster. A restaurant review of this kitchen has to include its wonderful view of the ocean and its proximity to historic Boggy Sands Road. Those who stay on West Bay Love them!

Alfresco

Alfresco Restaurant is a tranquil seaside eatery the straddles the pristine shores of the West Bay beach. Passengers love their view and family casual environment. Serving a daily fine dining cuisine, this is unassuming locale hosts and array of taste bud tantalizing tongue teasers that will keep you coming back.
Their wide and varied menu has drawn and kept celebrities clients as Sylvester Stallone, Steve from Jerry Springer, Shaquille Oneil, Jean Batista (WWI) Jamaican reggae crooner Mavado who have all testify that they are hooked to there wonderful Cuisine. Alfresco cater to everyone and anyone how is looking for quality service at a affordable price.

Kirk Foods Their Hot Food Bar and Salad Bar

The Kirk Market Gourmet Deli offers everything from fresh-made soups and sandwiches to an espresso/coffee bar and specialty cheese department. It’s a great place to stop by for lunch or to grab a meal on the go.

Everything that comes from the Deli is made on site, from scratch. They use local and organic ingredients whenever possible, and their meats and cheeses are hormone and antibiotic-free. In addition to made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads and entrees, you’ll also find an healthy salad bar and delicious homemade soups.

From 11:00am until 3:00pm Monday through Saturday, we have a hot meal variety of entrée’s, pizza and vegetables.  The salad bar are ready at 7:00am.  Our menu always includes vegetarian and vegan options.

Czech Inn Grill

Passengers have discovered a new roadside grill offering Czech foods, steaks, fish and jerk chicken in Pease Bay, Bodden Town. The Czech Inn Grill, in the building once occupied by Chester’s Jerk and Fry Fish, is open Monday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm, and Sunday 11am-8pm. The owners, chef Jiri “George” Zitterbart, former head chef at Morgan’s Harbor and Grand Old House, and fiancée Dahema Baker, have spruced up the premises to create a more contemporary feel, offering diners a luxury, outside grill-style menu. George said, “You can come sit down, bring your own beer and enjoy the ambiance while you order from the extensive menu”. New outdoor furniture, lighting and a contemporary bar-style food counter grace the space for a less formal dining experience. There is no inside dining since the whole building is a kitchen.

Customers can also choose to dine out back, where there is a giant blackboard and chalk to keep children occupied. Table-style seating has also been added on the side to encourage a social atmosphere where customers can play games and be entertained by a local parrot. Chef George said diners will not be disappointed with the fresh snapper, wahoo and lobster dishes. True to its name, the Czech Inn Grill entrees have a European feel, though George has put a new twist on regional dishes like callaloo and jerk. Even fried chicken is prepared the European way. Guláš, a European beef and vegetable stew seasoned with paprika and other spices, comes with Czech-style dumplings. Delicious! The menu also offers a variety of burgers (blue cheese, lamb, barbecue) and salads (Greek, Caesar, house mixed, served with chicken or shrimp), sandwiches and brussel sprouts in broth, as well as pork belly and chicken wings. Prices are very affordable. “The most expensive dish we have is $18. We also offer fish fresh from the local ocean, not frozen,” said George. “We also have mussels and other types of seafood.” The quality of the food is outstanding and very fairly  My husband's favorite is the Famous Goulash you will not be disappointed one meal can feed two people.

Peppers Bar and Grill

Pepper Bar and Grill opposite of the Comfort Suites, they have some of the best ribs on the island. Their Caribbean corn is amazing right off the grill. The atmosphere very relaxed and casual. The perfect restaurant for families to just chill, not worrying about getting dressed up. Centrally located on Seven Mile beach. Locals   eat here also.....So there might be a wait. But well worth the wait.
