Now for any of you doubters who might be scratching their heads who might say: "What does an Aussie know about making tacos"?  Well you need to know some fun facts. Chef Ron's lionfish tacos are famous on the island. In fact they are so popular that nearly14,000 pounds of lionfish have been culled to keep up with the demand! Every diver on the East End takes pleasure in indulging and eating this predator of the reefs.
















After weeks of renovations to the old Bombay Chopsticks location there is a Margarita at the end of the Tunnel... Chef Ron Hargrave birthed another Passenger Pick Favorite. Taco Cantina is an East End must dine! Just look for the signs you can not miss this new gem of a restaurant. The East End needed a fun Tequila Bar to spice up life on the quiet side of the island. As you know Chef Ron always brings the fun factor!. Great prices and fun for the whole family. Come thirsty and come casual to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. Chef Scott  growing his home grown chilies. He will be ready for the Summer crowds. 

 Let us not forget the world famous Mexican drink...and I do not mean a Corona with a lime garnish. Yes I am talking Margaritas!  It has been a favorite (for many) but we had no idea that there were so many brands of tequila. Chef Ron shared he has 95 different brands of Tequilas and Mazcals.  All are imported. The assortments of the blue agave plant beverage are showcased behind he margarita bar which is small but cozy. The vibe is definitely "south of the border".
Picture your self listening to our favorite song margarittaville  and the bar tender blending a tart lime frozen concoction to be pored into a salt rimmed glass. Yes... Island Mexican Bliss. Now add farm to table fresh made guacamole and crispy tortilla chips to that amazing combination. What a way to Mellow on the East End. His Top Tequila's are Don Julio & Herradura. The Specialty Margaritas are Guava, Blood Orange and Local Mango.

Celebrate Women's Dive Day

To celebrate Women’s Dive Day 2019 Divetech will bring together women hand in hand in an attempt to break their own World Record! In July 2018, 86 women at Divetech in Grand Cayman created a human chain along a 300ft line suspended at 15ft, thus ensuring the ladies were neutrally buoyant protecting the coral on the sea floor. Last year the charitable event raised over $3,000 US for the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation as well as raising awareness for women in diving globally across all disciplines including recreational, technical and Freediving. This year they are aiming for 100 women and for the event to be bigger and better! They are hoping for a number of the Cayman dive shops to join (bringing our dive community together), a raffle with lots of prizes (to help raise more money for the Breast Cancer Foundation), as well as local conservation organisations joining the event to raises awareness of island ocean issues, such as Lionfish as an invasive species.
