NKY celebrates ten years of fashion with the Cayman Islands’ largest fashion event this December
The Cayman Islands’ largest international fashion event in a decade is coming to Camana Bay on 6 December at 6 pm, as luxury retailer NKY celebrates ten years of fashion at Camana Bay with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cayman Islands.
Headlining the event will be global fashion brand BCBGMAXAZRIA, New York-based men’s luxury brand Robert Graham, women’s designer Hale Bob, and California lifestyle brand Trina Turk who are among the top designers showcasing their luxury wares at the fashion show. The evening will also feature local celebrities, a raffle and silent auction, cocktails and entertainment.
“BCBGMAXAZRIA is excited to team up with our long standing partner, NKY – Cayman Fashion Group, to present our Resort and Spring Collection in a fashion show this December,” says a spokesperson for Marquee Brands, owner of BCBGMAXAZRIA.
“It is our pleasure to support our store partner in the Cayman Islands with the color, design and spirit of Robert Graham. The RG Collector is a jet-setter and the Cayman Islands is a natural fit for his global travels,” explained Andrew Berg, Robert Graham President.

DIVETECH BREAKS WORLD RECORD FOR LONGEST FEMALE SCUBA CHAIN To celebrate PADI women’s dive day 2019 Divetech have once again brought together women hand in hand, breaking their own World Record! In July 2018, 86 women created a human chain along a 300ft line at Divetech’s shore diving location, this year the ladies smashed their own record with 107 female divers! Although the event was organized by Divetech support was received from many of the other dive centres in Grand Cayman who donated, staff, tanks and equipment to ensure the record could be broken. On the day itself the community came together with businesses donating hundreds of dollars worth of prizes for a raffle. Representatives from the Cayman Department of Environment, the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) and Lionfish Cull experts were on hand to educate the attendee’s as well as the local marine police helping with safety & surface watch.
