Passengers love their 5 items for 5 dollars breakfasts, which have made them a " Best Value" on the island. Their breakfast skillets are filling, made to perfection, and so good. They also have a great lunch and brunch. I have one passenger who fly's to the island twice a year, and always orders their Caribbean Fire Roasted Shrimp wrapped with fresh Spinach & Apple-wood smoked bacon…with a Cimosa chaser, Cimboco's rendition of a mimosa. Cimboco's pound-cake and Key lime cheesecake are the favorites of many. The cafe is a feast for the senses with an exhibition kitchen and wood burning oven. Everything is made from scratch, from the breads and soups to homemade desserts – Cimboco even makes its own ice cream! Think fresh, homemade, fun and family.
Cimboco  is not only is family friendly but they they have an awesome Internet connection. They are a Internet Cafe-Plus must!
Folks share they save so much money having breakfast and using Wi-fy  they have extra  funds for activities and fine dining later.

The manager Catherine shared they do not even have a microwave!  They focus on fresh right out of the oven delivery and all breads are made daily!Many folks even go back for dinner for the pricing is good and the quality/service is suburb! Best dining - Guy HarveyGuy Harvey's is a great mix of West Indian and French cuisine in a beautiful waterfront setting in downtown George Town. What makes them a Family Friendly must is every Saturday and Sunday the have their buy one entree' for full price get the same dish for 1 Dollar.  Passengers love to spend the morning shopping in George Town then have lunch at Guy Harvey's. Locals have shared with me that Chef  Bruno carefully picks by hand the best fish to be prepared at his restaurant. Which always guarantees the freshest seafood entrees on the island. They have some wonderful feature nights with specials on Crab Cakes, Lobster or NY Steak and Fries and for those interested in other dishes; their menu is full of tantalizing flavor combinations as well as some great classic dishes. The décor is enhanced with an exclusive collection of artwork from renowned Marine wildlife artist, Guy Harvey, whose influence is further felt in the menu selections. Guy Harvey's pride themselves on their commitment to the long term improvement of fish stocks. You will not find any seafood choices on the menu whose stocks have been over-exploited. You can also try their new Caribbean style Sunday Brunch which is served from 11am to 3pm. Dishes include ackee and codfish,








Cayman style snapper, jerk chicken and more. Guy Harvey's has a new Raw Bar called Raw Crudo which serves some of the best sushi on island. Many folks love Chef Bruno's amazing display of seafood in the main dining area, he creates a different one everyday according to the fresh catch of the day! He gets up super early to eyeball the best fish from the fish market.

Choose from a variety of lobster dishes at Guy Harvey. He also serves up Lion Fish daily which is a Cayman must eat!

My Passengers love XQ's for their great pizzas, affordable food and friendly, outstanding service. XQ's on Seven Mile is a contemporary yet unpretentious restaurant and lounge serving casual food without compromising on quality. Having imported a Bona fide wood oven and Pizza Chef both from Italy, no corners have been cut to bring you that authentic taste: exceptional wholesome dishes and nothing but the freshest fish and the best Pizza on the rock. While the four main pillars of the menu are Pizza, Grill, Pasta and Salad, the XQ's crew is flexible to your desires.



 Some of the XQ's signature dishes include the  XQ's Burger prepared with fresh Certified Angus Beef. Great value lots of Beef and perfect for burger loving families. You may luck out and land on one of their specials! They will also make a Gluten free burger if you have a sensitivity.  Chicken fingers always 6.95. Small Pizza or Pasta always 5.95.

Cayman offering is that there is just the one food menu, consistent for lunch and dinner reflecting no change in prices. The team at XQ's concludes that their customers should not pay different prices for the same thing at a different time of day. Which makes it a Family friendly restaurant.

 Another specialty is the Sausage Fiesta; using locally made sausages consisting of various flavors. The Brick Oven Snapper is also one to impress. In short, there are many options for carnivores, pizza lovers and vegetarians alike. The real Island Buzz is about their Happy Hour Madness Pizza line up: 3-4pm $4, 4-5pm $5, 5-6pm $6. Best dining - Wok n Roll Wok n Roll is a family favorite for many of my passengers! Talk about family friendly pricing with easy and quick delivery/pickup! Many folks order this delicious Asian food take to the beach or serve in the privacy of their condo's. Predominantly catering to the take-out crowd, Wok-n-Roll serves up popular Asian cuisine. There's a selection of dim sum appetizers, soups, noodle bowls, stir fried noodles and rice dishes, alongside popular dishes such as sweet and sour chicken and crispy duck.  Bourbon Chicken is an amazing fresh dish prepared daily. They have awesome soups and excellent stir fry dishes the whole family will enjoy! You can have it delivered at your condo or hotel. They have excellent carry out service  which many folks enjoy before they go to the beach or travel to the other side of island. Their team very friendly and will help save you dollars in Cayman Dining! Note one of their meals can almost provide to meals. Their portions are huge and tasty!

Celebrate Women's Dive Day

To celebrate Women’s Dive Day 2019 Divetech will bring together women hand in hand in an attempt to break their own World Record! In July 2018, 86 women at Divetech in Grand Cayman created a human chain along a 300ft line suspended at 15ft, thus ensuring the ladies were neutrally buoyant protecting the coral on the sea floor. Last year the charitable event raised over $3,000 US for the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation as well as raising awareness for women in diving globally across all disciplines including recreational, technical and Freediving. This year they are aiming for 100 women and for the event to be bigger and better! They are hoping for a number of the Cayman dive shops to join (bringing our dive community together), a raffle with lots of prizes (to help raise more money for the Breast Cancer Foundation), as well as local conservation organisations joining the event to raises awareness of island ocean issues, such as Lionfish as an invasive species.
